I'm Duan, born in '88 and living amidst the captivating landscapes of Cape Town, South Africa.

I'm blessed to journey through life with my amazing wife, Maryke.

 

You may know me as @dmfstop on various social media platforms—a name derived from our initials and the ƒ-stop camera setting, which emphasises clarity and focus.

 

My journey in content creation began in 2016 when I acquired my first drone, sharing what I would describe as raw footage of my adventures.

Fast forward totoday, and I've stepped in front of the camera to share more facets of my life and interests.

My content pillars—wildlife, and landscapes—are the lenses through which I aim to showcase the beautiful world around us.

 

For my day job, I lead ALDU Construction, a venture focused on building dream homes.

My newest endeavour is Tanqwala, a getaway currently in its development stage, aiming to embody the tranquillity of nature.
